Pittsburg State University offers both a tuition payment plan and a housing payment plan. Students may enroll in a payment plan for both tuition and housing costs, however they require two separate plans.

Students with scholarship or student financial assistance may choose to postpone signing up for the payment plan until their awards have been posted to their student account or the semester due date. By delaying enrollment in a payment plan, your scholarships/awards will have reduced the total balance due, therefore reducing the monthly installments. Be sure to enroll in a payment plan before the semester due date.

Is there a cost for the tuition and/or housing payment plans?

The contract activation fee to register for each payment plan is $25 . The payment plan contract activation fee of $25 is charged for each semester that a student enrolls in a payment plan.

Are Payment Plans Available

Penn State offers an Installment Payment Plan every semester. Enrollment in the plan allows students/authorized payers to pay 1/3 of the semester charges each month, over a period of three months. Fall semester payment due dates are typically in August, September, and October. Spring semester due dates are typically in December, January, and February. There is a $45 non-refundable enrollment fee per semester, which covers administrative costs. The payments can be made with eCheck or credit card .

Students/authorized payers can enroll in the plan online once the tuition statement is available. To enroll with 1/3 of the payment, students/authorized payers must complete the enrollment process and make the first payment prior to the first installment due date. Enrolling after the first installment due date will require an initial payment of 2/3 of the balance payable at the time of enrollment. Enrollment in the Installment Payment Plan is not available after the second installment due date.
