Umass Black Presence Project
The UMass Black Presence website serves as a living history of the experiences, contributions, and stories of Black students, alumni, faculty, and staff. Through oral history interviews and research on historical figures, we’ve captured these stories to provide an authentic and in-depth understanding of these lived experiences.
Diversity And Equity Strategic Planning Toolkit
The Office of Equity and Inclusion undertook a strategic planning process in spring 2019, to better inform and align its work of establishing the strategy for diversity, equity, and inclusion with the strategies of Minnesota State. It builds on previous equity and inclusion strategic plans , and draws on the commitment of the Minnesota State chancellor and chancellors cabinet to address equity education gaps through the Equity 2030 framework. Equity 2030 aims to eliminate educational equity gaps at all colleges and universities of Minnesota State by 2030. This strategic plan is intended to guide the Office of Equity and Inclusions work in the immediate and long-term future .
As of January 2020, the Office of Equity and Inclusion has received feedback from campus diversity officers , Minnesota State leadership, bargaining units, and student associations on the priority areas and Minnesota State goals related to diversity, equity, and inclusion. In the coming months, the Office of Equity and Inclusion will continue to engage in a consultative process and review the strategic plan with additional key stakeholders including Minnesota State divisions , the chancellors cabinet, the Minnesota State Leadership Council , and bargaining units to ensure a collaborative approach to setting and achieving diversity, equity, and inclusion goals.

The Department of Social and Health Services is an agency committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion. Meet The Director For Social Justice Equity Diversity And Inclusion
Antonio G. Estudillo, Ph.D. is the Director for Social Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion and an Associate Professor in the School of Education and Leadership at City University of Seattle.
He serves on CityUs cabinet and works alongside CityUs Social Justice Coalition . A sample of collaborations include the expansion and development of the OEDI, rollout and review of CityUs institution-wide Equity Audit, and engagement with the CityU community.
Prior to joining CityU, he was an Associate Professor with Monmouth University in NJ. He was also both an AAHHE Graduate and Faculty Fellow. Dr. Estudillo has deep roots in WA, having been born and raised in the Yakima Valley.

Dr Ewurabena Simpson Md Cm Mph Frcpc Assistant Dean Office Of Equity Diversity And Inclusion
Dr. Simpson received her medical degree from McGill University in 2005 and completed her General Pediatrics training and Hematology/Oncology fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children and the University of Toronto in 2012. During her fellowship training, she also completed a Masters in Public Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health as a Global Health Scholar. In 2012, Dr. Simpson joined the Division of Hematology/Oncology at CHEO and was appointed as Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics within the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine. Her major clinical and research interests have centered upon health systems improvement for children and adolescents with sickle cell disease and other chronic hematologic disorders.
Since 2017, Dr. Simpson has been a mentor and faculty advisor for several student groups at the University of Ottawa, including the Black Medical Students Association. From 2020-2021, she took on the role of Black Health Theme Lead and Content Expert for the MD Program at University of Ottawa. In these roles, Dr. Simpson has worked with medical students and faculty to improve the representation of racialized communities within the University of Ottawa MD Program curriculum. She has also been a board member for the Black Physicians Association of Ontario since 2017 and currently serves on the executive board of directors as treasurer for the Canadian Haemoglobinopathy Association.

Online Social Justice Education Opportunity
The University of Delaware has partnered with Everfi to offer online equity, diversity and inclusion education for all faculty, staff, and students. Members of the UD community will already be familiar with the Everfi platform, having completed the sexual misconduct training. This new EDI educational opportunity will provide members of our community with an introduction to social identities in relation to power, oppression, and privilege and social justice concepts, ideas, and actions. This opportunity will allow for new and continuing follow-up educational opportunities taking place across campus in various colleges, schools, units, and departments. All members of the UD community will receive an assignment email directly from Everfi with instructions for logging in and completing the EDI module. Faculty and staff questions can be sent to and student questions can be directed to .
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 is a federal law that prohibits sex discrimination and sexual harassment, including sexual violence, in educational programs and activities that receive federal funds. In compliance with the Department of Educations regulations published on May 19, 2020, the University of Delaware has updated its policies and procedures regarding reports of discrimination, in all forms, to the Office of Equity and Inclusion.

The Office of Equity & Inclusion advances institutional diversity and principles of social justice at Dickinson College.
